The FCA have published their Annual Work Programme 2026/27. This sets out the next stage of their transformation into a more data‑driven regulator and details how they will continue delivering on their strategic vision.
Over the coming year, they are aiming to modernise regulation, streamline supervision and improve firms’ experience by reducing unnecessary administrative burdens.
Alongside this they have published their Perimeter Report for 2026/27, setting out the most significant issues at the edge of their remit, including where legislative change may be needed to better protect consumers, markets and support sustained economic growth. The perimeter report is how the FCA flag any gaps early - before they lead to real harm.
